Hello,
Yes I would check for power at the crank sensor or check if the main relay is being activated. I think the ecm sends a ground signal to the main relay. The main relay has to be powered and a crank signal has to be received by the ecm before the fuel pump relay will be fully energized. If none of these items are turning on you will need to figure out if the ecm is being powered and has a ground. Also I think the anti theft system has to send a signal to the ecm before it will turn on. Do you have access to a tech 2 or someone with a tech 2? That would be easiest way to check these things. If not you should be able to access the online WIS to get full wiring diagrams and explanations of how the anti theft system interacts with the ecm as well as how the ecm controls the power to the sensors and relays. Good Luck, Bernie
