My daughter's 9-3 convertable had the same issue when going around a curve. I am unclear as to what direction the turn was but it was reported as an "every time" event. I had her change the oil to a 10W30 and drive the car "home to me". This issue happened about six months after I had dropped the sump and cleaned out the oil pump pickup and re-screened with a less fine mesh. I had also replaced the O rings associated with the oil cooler and cleaned up the bolts which provide oil to the cam shaft retainers (quit dirty). This was all done to avoid any and all future issues with low oil pressure. At the time there were no issues other than having evidence of past sludging on cam caps and a little on the screen/sump. What I had not done was pull and inspect the oil pressure relief valve. The piston ended up having one scratch and the spring was 1/8 of an inch shorter than the new one. Although I considered shimming the new spring with a washer which supposedly raises the oil pressure, I decided to just go with a new piston and spring/no shim. I then drove the car hard around the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee for about 2K. There were many corners involved with loss of rubber (I'm a good dad and buy her good tires). No more problems. That was about 4K ago. Car has approx. 168K. There was also a small ticking from the hydraulic lifters which also immediately went away.I hope this info helps. Good luck.
