Things to watch out for on a used 2002 9-3?

A friend has asked me to help look over a 2002 9-3 with automatic trans that's for sale locally. I'm not very familiar with this model because although I've owned Saabs for about 40 years now it has only been C900s and 9000s. I think an '02 9-3 has a 2 liter Saab engine with the red ignition cassette (T5)?

Aside from the usual used car things to watch out for what specifics should I be looking for? The car is known to have a headlight out (bulb? relay?) and the ABS light is on (wheel sensor?)

I have a Tech2 that can be used for checking things out. Would this car use the old V44 Tech2 software like the 9000, or does it need the newer (I think V148) software? As far as I can see the CANDI adapter and TIS2000 should not be needed on a 2002 model.
