My issue this time is not dropped pixels

Not sure this would fix the issue with my SID because unlike in the past, there are not dropped pixels. This time, sometimes it is like the screen brightness is cranked all the way up (more than usual) or it fades out altogether and is very, very dim. The other issue is it seems to be causing the dash gauge lighting to not come on. So this seems not to be the display in the SID itself, but something in the internal circuitry not operating correctly.
