My (same) car had the same problem when it came back from some work at the dealer. Apparently when the battery cable has been disconnected, the security code must be entered into the radio to get the radio to work again. Sometimes when the code is entered, the radio does not sense the CD changer--it took them 4 tries to get it to sense mine last time.
Someone said that you could just pull the fuse to the radio to disconnect the radio and get it to ask for the code, but the dealer said you really should disconnect the battery cable.
Apparently not an uncommon problem.
