Good post.
I agree, I too have a 95, however it is an SE turbo convertible. Make sure all recalls were done. With your VIN the dealership will be able to tell you what work has been done to the car. Check to see if the car has been in the shop repeatedly in a short amount of time. Other things to consider with the 95s, which I did not know about, and it probably would not have changed my mind anyway. The heating and cooling system was upgraded in 97 I believe, it allowed for more capacity and I believe the A/C system was more effecive in 97. If you get the convertible, always have the engine running when you raise and lower the roof, (if possible increase the engine rpm to 1200) this will allow for adequate amperage for the motors. Just an 'extra' precaution. If you take care of it and keep an eye on things the car will do you well. Oh yeah one more thing, if you remove the 900s badges and replace them with 9-3 badges you will confuse the car into thinking it is a more reliable newer unit and your relationship will be much cheaper. :)
regards,
Bryan C
