If you like the looks of drilled rotors, by all means go ahead.
As for functionality, that is debated on every board around.
IMHO, they don't give you much. The pads wear faster, but you always have "fresh" pad when you brake. I don't know about everyboedy else but I haven't glazed the brake pads yet. The holes can crack if they are drilled and not cast into the rotor. The rotors weigh less, which is good, due to lower inertia and unsprung mass. Less weight means the pads will run hotter leading to fade faster. OTOH, the air flow might help cool the pads. A brake engineer could answer that one.
As for the holes letting the gases from the pad out, I don't think this is an issue.
