Yes there is a choice. But it is just a Q&T bent rod. Strength is not an issue when it is build to be stiff.
Price is also an issue. They both will create significant reductions in body sway.
If money is not an issue, get the Abbott product.
I have not seen the hole sizes in the Abbott bar. I only assume that they would be smaller as would be good design practice.
You don't have to paint it. Someone posted that his was rusting, so I painted it. If is is rusty, it will work just as well and will outlast the vehicle. Rusty fastener issues are common to either product.
