NG 900 durability compaired to 9000 and OG900

I am a long time Saab owner and a DIY type. I have owned an 83 900T, and currently own a 91 9000S and 89 900T. I know both of these have no problems hitting 250k-300k with some repair and TLC. I am now seeing used NG900's hit an affordable range and wanted to know peoples thoughts on the durability and reliability of the 96-98 900's. For what it's worth I have found the 9000 to be more durable and reliable than the OG 900's, although the car is more complex and parts more expensive. Any thoughts are welcome and appreciated.
Thx,
Scott
