Antenna Problem thats not in Archives! Posted by Rob [Email] (#1828) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Rob) on Fri, 23 Nov 2001 16:59:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I recently had my Antenna cable break. I ordered a new mast and decided to enjoy a cool Thanksgiving Saab work day. Well after removing the Antenna Motor and opening it up I didn't find the fragments of the broken cable as I thought I would (Where did they go?) So I put the motor back in and started feeding in the new mast/cable as the radio was turned on and off by my patient Brother-In-Law.
The cable fed, as we repeatedly turned the radio on and off, however the antenna is getting pulled in till there is about 6 iches of cable left. It just won't go any further. Do we need to cut it? Or is there 6 inches of cable still in the motor blocking the new cable?
Any help would be great as I want to drive to work on Monday with a working Power Antenna.
Thanks
