It can be done and has been done. By the way are you Saab certified or do you just have a tech2? It can not be done on the t-7 but it can be done on the t-5. There is a squence of buttons that you need to depressed to turn off the "shift up" light. If you are Saab certified then you should remember this from them talking about this at Saab School. I personally do not know the sequence to turn off the light but I know where to go locally to get this done.
