The way Saab has it set up for upgraded ECU's is that the dealer or Saab has to prove that the upgraded ECU on your car has caused any problems with the car. They can not simply say that because your car has an upgraded ECU we will void your warrenty. This is a little know fact. Adding an upgraded ECU only down side is that if you encounter problems with it Saab can not fix it and you have to go through whoever made your ECU for the fix.

In the states there is only one dealer that I know of that stocks upgraded ECU's and that is Wigwam in RI. SQR, Maptun and Abbott racing are the other three that are very well known for there ECU upgrades, SQR is the best though of the three.
