Surprised to hear you refer to LM cause I don't much folks use it.

Back then, I bought 15 five-liter jugs when they went for about $20 each. Went thru my brother who got them fairly cheap at a distributor in NYC.
Search online. Think each jug goes for around $25 for 5 liters [not quarts]. Not too bad, probably works out to about $4.50 per quart.
thats' just pennies more than Mobil 1.

Can compare only with other cars on Mobil 1 or dinos as I ran wiht LM on the saabs. Cars run smooth with lubro moly. also seems to a last long time. I'm comfortable with extended drain intervals at 8k. Pours out without any sludge and color seems to be maintained much better than mobil 1 at equal miles. Alos, I like manns. Get the 10pack. should be about <$4 each.

I change my own oil, so it always works out to be much less expensive when compared to going to the dealer or anywhere else. Therefore, I figure I use the best oil on the market. Guess it pays off not to be lazy and I always hated dealers anyway.
