I had an OEM headlight blow out after 5 years of DRL's and about 80K miles of driveing, so just for the hell of it, I thought I would try the cool blue ones, because I too want to be cool. I had them in about a month, and kind of liked them, although they didnt seem any brighter, they did seem whiter. But after 4-6 weeks or so one of them burned out! I thought maybe it was defective from the factory so I bought another (keep in mind they are twice the price of OEM) and after two more weeks the other burned out. I put the old OEM bulb I had left from the first set till I could decide what to do, good thing too because less then two weeks later the third cool blue burnt out. After going through 3 bulbs in about 3 months, I decided it wasnt worth it and got some sylvania that were supposedly brighter than OEM. They seem to be brighter and so far have lasted about 6 months, which is ok by me.
