O2 sensor Posted by TML [Email] (#2212) [Profile/Gallery] (more from TML) on Wed, 14 May 2003 16:50:28 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I picked up a Bosch O2 sensor, but it seems to have the wrong connector on it. The sales guy insisted that it was the correct p/n cross. I did some digging, and now I'm more confused than ever. Here is what I know so far.
13669 - p/n of the sensor I now have
13662 - p/n of the Bosch sensor according to eeuroparts.com
13689 - p/n of the OE sensor according to Boschusa.com
15738 - p/n of universal replacement according to Boschusa.com
So, excluding the universal one, I have three different part numbers, and I don't know which one to trust. I'm pretty sure the one I have is wrong, but between the other two I don't have a clue.
My last question is can I use the one I have by splicing the wires onto the proper connector? Is the sensor itself going to work pretty much the same? I got a good price on this one, so if I have a choice to use this rather than pay another $100, I'll do that.
