Today, while I was driving on 290 heading towards Marlboro Massachusetts, I had a scary experience with a newer black BMW 3 series. I decided to switch from the middle lane to the fast at about 80mph and I accidentaly cut off a BMW. This guy must have been doing 90 at least and basically came from no where. So it was a very close call, about 7-10 feet. As soon as I realized I had done what had been done I moved to the middle lane. Then the guy and his wife pulled to the side of my car and started flipping me off and screaming. I slowed to 70 and ignored them but then this guy pulled his 3 series right on the tail of my car within about 2-3 feet. If I slowed he slowed and if I accelerated he did the same. I decided maybe if I took the next exit he'd keep going. He was going to follow me but instead I said I'd keep going. Soon he got on my side again and his wife flipped me off and was basically saying I got your make, model, and license plate number. Then they flew off. They got off at the same exit as I did. At the signal I said I'd rather pass him than be right behind him. As soon as I did he started again and got on my tail. But I made it through the next light and he got stuck at it. Thank God! Then it was all over. I do have a few questions though....If I am reported, what can the cops really do? There wasn't an accident and I made a mistake...but then he decided to conduct roadrage. I think I'll stay out of the fast lane for a while. But, it truly makes me hate BMW's even more. If I would have been that driver I would of either picked report the kid or give him a taste of his own medicine. It seems like he's just setting hmself up for a fall. Tell me what you think.
