The V6's tend to start hesitantly when cold.
The first thing I would try is to clean the IAC (idle air controller).
Pull off the 1" hose connected to the rubber elbow, just before the throttle body.
Start the engine, spray carb cleaner down this hose, wait for the engine RPM's to come back up and do it again. Do this a few times, then turn off the car, and push the hose back on it's barb.
