I have the circuit board schematics for the head unit and the cassette heads get e.q.ed. Plus it would be a nightmare opening the thing up not to mention shielding - space related issues trying to sandwich the wires in over other paths with FM present.
Now if we could just modify the cassette mouth so that the iPod just slips in and connects..............
