Given the apparent lack of concern by the previous owner, and how these engines self destruct with neglected with dyno oil...

Walmart has M1 5W50 in some locations.

Just change it. You could run a solvent type oil additive that claims to free up sticking rings and valves, one week before you change. It will feel watery when you shake the can and be around 12 ounces or so. Not a one quart oil flush!

Purolator PureOne PL 10241 is a better filter, $5.99.
