Beware of the retaining clip.

Here is a small piece of advice. Make sure you got a good light source, you will need it. My flashlight died mid way through the installation complicating things enormously.
Second, and most important: Before you remove the retaining clip, make sure you have a way to grab it firmly! Whether you use needle nose pliers, preferably vice grip type, or you use some wrench / wire to tie it, make sure you have some way to hold it in position. The spring clip gets out of position very, very, very easily (it is a spring of course). However, replacing it is very very difficult. What I did was use my vice grips on an allen wrench, and I hooked the L shaped part of the allen wrench to the spring clip. This allowed me to pull the clip without allowing it to spring out of position. Once you start chaning the clutch cable this will make a lot more sense.
Give yourself an entire afternoon if you can help it. If you finish in half hour you can feel great about yourself :) Removing the Fuse box in the engine compartment also helps a lot.
