I had this a few years ago and it drove me nuts.

Turned out the sensor in the bottle was bad - apparently this happens and there are some related posts. It would come on every few days even though I wasn't losing any coolant.

I had to replace the entire overflow bottle as the bottle and the sensor are sold together. Think it was around $100 to have it replaced.

Might be worth checking. Good luck.
