Having seen the way the gorillas at my local tyre shop jacked the car up with the rear beam axle (before I knew this was bad) I would have been concerned about what it may have done. However, there is no visible uneven wear on my tyres after 15,000 miles so I seem to have got away with it.
If the beam axle was bent in this way, the upward force of the jack would cause the beam to bend in a way that would cause wear on the outside of the tyre.
As Dean says, needs proper inspection to explain what is happening and why.
