One of the best scary movies ever made, imho, is 28 Days Later. This film has both a gripping story and a beautifully delivered film emphasizing the empty streets of London and the brutal attacks of the infected.

The sequel to 28 Days Later just came out on DVD and is called, 28 Weeks Later. The infection has run its course and previously infected areas are now infection free so people are moving back in... No spoilers because there aren't any to be given. The sequel has little or no point and the ending is so unsatisfying... Don't taint your wonderful 28 Days Later viewing by following it up with a 28 Weeks Later... You will be sorely disappointed at your wasted time.
