And I would not recommend using the Medium Cut with the PC. The PC is a great machine but it does have limitations, and using it with aggressive polishes formulated for rotary use is one of them. In the Meguiar's line the most aggressive polish I'd suggest is #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish. Mike Phillips from Meguiar's also says this is about as aggressive a polish you want to use with the PC.
Instead of ratcheting up the abrasive scale, spend more time working the polish and getting the most out of the machine. Polish smaller sections for longer amounts of time at higher speeds. You should be able to get most of the same results as a rotary but it'll just take longer.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!!
