Actually the '85 C900T rally car has over steer when left foot braking. Still scares the heck out of my wife when I rotate the car. The old 96 that I started rallying in had great trailing throttle over steer. As you approached a corner, all you had to do was lift momentarialy then stand on the throttle and catch the spin. FIAT 850 Spiders have this same characteristic which allowed me to beat my father-in-law at a solo with his car.

PS: I had this exact same discussion with Road and Driver or Car and Track Magazine about a year ago. They finally came around also.
