I initially thought back in the 90's that Saab was done for. Since then my thoughts have changed dramatically. I see some great products coming down the line, and I am excited to see where Saab's future goes. I think that there aren't many people that can argue against how great a car the 9-5 really is. It is finally the car that the 9000 should have been from the start. Not to say the hatch was bad because I would definitely consider a 9-5 hatch, but the refinement, quality, and engineering of the 9-5 should have been used in the 9000. I am very much looking foward to the 9-2, and I hope that it will meet my expectations. I don't want just a rebadged Subaru. I would like a car that is based on the Subaru but have some serious Saab blood. Time will tell. For now I can only say that the cars that have been possible only through GM have been a great change for the Saab brand.
