2004 is here now, 2003's all new..... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Sun, 4 May 2003 16:06:21 In Reply to: Should I buy the 2001 9-3 Viggen?, Tad, Sun, 4 May 2003 14:12:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The new 9-3 Sport Sedans are here now, no need to wait for 2004. The Viggens have more power, but the new Sport Sedans will handle AND ride much better. If you want the power and the good ride and handling, consider a 9-5 Aero.
With the new plant in Trollhattan, some consumer publications say Saab is the most reliable, trouble-free European car.
3 door Viggens were built in 2002 too. Viggens can be a little over the top in regards to suspension firmness, but reliability and otherwise should compare with a 9-3SE. The later model 9-3SE's with the 205hp aren't so slouchy. As I understand it, the only 3 doors in 2002 were Viggens, in 2001 you could get an SE in 3 door.
