There is some form you need to fill out indicating that the vehicle was destroyed.
When cutting be aware of any flammables. check the location of fuel and brake lines. Undercoating and rustproofing materials can catch fire along with fabric and rodent nests.
Be sure there is no live ammunition in the vehicle. I'm not being funny about this, I was welding a crack in a Mack cab and looked down and saw a couple of 12 Ga. shotgun shells that the driver had dropped on the floor. You never know what a previous owner might have left in the car.
