No marketing quality control, does anybody check this stuff before they blast it out?
Just opened the "State of Independence" campaign site and suffered through a loooong load delay. I found it ironic that they used a turbo gauge to indicate loading progress...quite a bit of lag, I'd say. What are they thinking?
I'm on a T-1 line, but I guess you need a gig of RAM for speedy load. Further, the actual ads run on Apple Quick-time and after waiting several minutes for this software to install, I gave up and hit ctrl+alt+del. While I wish the world were Mac, it ain't.
It appears they are trying to restage "Find Your Own Road," which conceptually is not a bad idea. But the proof is in the execution and the content was soft. Primarily fluffy qualitative descriptions with some reference to the heritage, but not one engineering or performance spec to add credibility or benchmark the competition. Support that would appeal to the target audience was absent.
