...seriously consider removing the red line. It would surely benefit the fast skaters, which is what hockey should be about, eh? It would also benefit the natural flow of a game, which is what makes hockey such a great game to watch, and play. For me, I'd much rather watch a great skater than a great checker - not that checking has no place in the game, but I think it has gone to a ridiculous extreme - I like Madden, but I'd rather watch Sergei Samsonov. Forget about making the nets larger: as a player, I would find it more challenging to score on a good goalie and a smaller net, than to be given an easy goal. Having been to a few college games, this year, I'd have to say they were more entertaining than most of the pro games I've seen in the play-offs.
