I just bought a 3650 yesterday to replace my (#$%!#%!) Sony-Ericsson T68. The T68 was a great piece of technology, hampered by the most ridiculous interface in the world. It was pure crap - everything was slow and non-intuitive, and I longed for my old Nokia again. After it barfed for the last time when I tried to use a headset, I chucked it and bought a 3650.

I actually bought the 3650 because it was a Nokia, and it had bluetooth, a color screen, and a decent price. I didn't even know when I bought it that it ran Symbian and was half PDA. I was very pleasantly surprised. I've already got it syncing with Lotus Notes so all my work meetings and appointments sync when it's close to the laptop (via bluetooth). I'm actually going to get rid of my Sony Clie PDA now, since all I used it for was keeping track of appointments. It syncs with Outlook as well, but I don't use that, so I can't comment. The calendar is very easy to use - has day, week, and month views, and the display is great - it doesn't feel "starved" for screen real estate, and makes excellent use of the relatively small size.

The novelties of the phone are great too - the digital camera seemed like a waste to me at first, but it's actually pretty handy, since you've always got a camera when the mood or opportunity strikes. I've got handy pictures of my Saab and motorcycle in case anyone asks when I'm not near them :-)

I guess it's targetted a bit more at teenage girls, and the form factor is a little funky, but overall I'm very pleased with it. The interface is surprisingly easy to use, and I've already mastered the round keypad - it's not bad for typing, and the predictive text input is very good. I liked the P800 package a bit better, though I never played with an actual one (using memory sticks would be nice - I've got a Sony Laptop, PDA, and digital camera, which made it handy for sharing stuff between them), but after an Ericsson R520m and t68, and a HBH-60 bluetooth headeset and their terrible, terrible interfaces, I won't even consider another ericsson product. They're utter crap. I can't say enough bad things about the bonehead design of their stuff. Nokias, on the other hand, have always been excellent.
