.. topping the chart of the Auto trade press should be a simple as setting them up with the right cars... over th past 5 years, review after review is published, and 'lo if Saab didn;t send them the wrong damn car, or worse a car with inherant problems ( like the Viggen) and poof its bad press time for Saab.. the very first car the trace press should have been given to drive is a 6-speed vector.. period.. but no.. they get underpowered std issue models... and then the reviewer pans the car... Duh... had a VRK like refit and real tires had been done to Viggen, perhaps they wouldn;t have been trashed so hard in the rags..
I dunno... I have no faith in Saabs ability to market what they have... you and I think they have great design, huge potential etc etc.. yet somehow the marketing doesn;t live up to it...
Saab talked about being able to hold higher G's than a BMW, then they give autowriters automatics and underpowered versions to test...
whine whine rant rant... :^)
