Rev-matching saves your clutch.
Double-clutching saves your synchros. It's also necessary if you don't have synchros, like some trucks.
Those are 2 different things, but they both involve blipping the throttle. To bad my wife doesn't appreciate it. She just says something about me pretending to be a race driver.
