Now that sounds like double-clutching. Sounds like you do both double-clutching & rev-matching, but "clutch-neutral-blip-clutch-shift" is double-clutching.
After you've done that & got into the lower gear, you have to blip the gas once more when you engage the clutch the last time, to avoid lurching. That's the rev-matching part.
Downshift without double-clutching, then blip the gas when you engage the clutch in the lower gear. That's rev-matching, & the car doesn't lurch.
Most cars have such good synchros, & low rotational inertia on the input side of the transmission; that double-clutching isn't needed. It's just fun to do. But you still have to match revs to engage the clutch smoothly.
Yeah, this is nit-picking. All in fun anyway...
