Nice bike - very classic looking ride. Purple looks sharp - I really can't talk since I drive a Lightening Blue Saab - cool colors just have more personality. I need to get a seat like that. The Italian one that I have often leaves me sore and I always ride with my MTBing shorts. I like the old downtube shifters. I am still not a huge fan of the handlebar shifters - it just doesn't seem natural to me.

Its really scary how similar people are on these BBs. I am also a 10 golf handicapper. Try to play once a week on Sunday night. I hate living in Texas and can't wait to move to a place I can ski on the weekends. Maybe soon...

I have to admit that if its windy at the house I might bail on a bike ride too. If its windy at the house I know it will be 5x worse on the open road. One of my common bike routes takes me all the way around DFW airport. Its cool to ride under the jets, but the crosswinds can be a real drag (literally).
