That Saab Proving Grounds event was fantastic marketing... It emphasizes the fact that Saab touted for awhile; "People who test drive a Saab usually buy one..." The need to get people in the car for a drive cannot be emphasized enough... and it was great to immediately compare it to some of the competition... I've like the Audi A4 and I still think it is a nice looking car with a great interior, but that 1.8t really shocked me with its lack of power compared to even a 9-3 Linear. It was a dramatic difference... Don't even get me started on the S60... wow. Whenever I see a Volvo S60 on the road, I see a big ridiculously oversized yellow stickie on the side of it that says, "I didn't test drive any cars before I bought this."
