I've heard from our Japanese contacts at Nissan N. Am. that Infiniti G35 coupe has not sold as well as expected (which sounds like it is a surprise to them) and may not end up leading to the convt version since it will be so similar to the already highly niche market for the Z convt.

I think the 9-3SS is a little different breed, with the Audi A4 convt as its true competitor. I still look at the G35, a really great car (other than the interior) in both sedan and coupe versions, as something of a car which exemplifies 'flash in the pan' over the Saab's more sensible and long wearing style.
