My complaint is not with Nissan as a car brand, it is with people who simply come to this board with no interest in Saab other than to praise the car that they own (in this case the G35).
I don't feel compelled to go to a BWM board or a Nissan board and make derogatory comments about those brand while praising my own Saab. The negative aspect of this efforts just seems a waste to me, as well as an affront on basic good sense.
You're very correct, Saab could and should learn a few things from Nissan (or should we rather say the cost cutting efforts of the Renault exec) but I'm not about to sell out the good taste and practicalities of a Saab for the over-wrought, over-done, half baked styling of a Suburban 'flash in the pan' such as is the case with most of the new Nissan products. In other words, there is a place for Nissan and a place for Saab and I perefer that Saab not relinquish it's place in order to chase after Nissan. Sheesh, the Murano/FX45/M45/G35/Altima/etc/etc seem almost the antithesis of why I, for one, prefer Saabs.
