9-7 starting to sound "not so bad"

I read an article in the current edition of the "Oakland Tech News", an auto industry newspaper, regarding the upcoming 9-7 model. The quoted Saab USA spokesperson made some reassuring comments.
The 9-7 will have extensive rework done to its front end to reflect Saab design clues. Minor amounts of rework will also be dont to the rear and sides to differentiate it from the rest of the TrailBlazer/Envoy/Bravada/Ranier/Ascender bunch.
The interior will also be extensively reworked to be very Saab like.
The chasis will be unique to Saab; brakes, suspension tuning, steering, etc., to maintain more of a Saab feel.
I still may never buy one, but at least it doesn't sound like "badge engineering" anymore.
