with the turbo 5 cylinder. Those are great and are made on the "100" series paltform for a little more room. You can get them pretty resonable if you dig deep, many are overpriced. I think they were most common in the mid-90's.

My mom drives a '99 A4 1.8T wagon we bought at the end of '99. Really great car. Already has 90k miles on it and the only replacemnts have been the wheel bearings (i guesss quattro likes to eat these...) but you really can't beat thier AWD system. Fun car to drive, though a little under powered. Only 150hp 155 torque. Should have gotten the 2000 with 180hp. Oh well, still a blast to drive.
