For around $200 the PDA's I'm most familiar with are the Palm m130 (PalmOS) and the Dell Axim X5 (WindowsPPC). The Palm is smaller and cheaper (~$170) but doesn't have some of the bells and whistles the Dell does- like MP3 support and a bigger display. My impression is that the Palm is a bit more rugged and has longer battery life, I've certainly dropped my m130 enough times and it still works fine. Both will do a more than adequate job as an address book or calendar, so it really comes down to price and features you'll actually use. For a PocketPC the Dell is a great deal, almost $200 cheaper than comparable models from Sony and HP. Good luck with your shopping and email me if you have questions....
