...poor guy. Its just amazing how quickly your life can change. That guy acted on natural instinct and pow -- in 5 seconds his life is ruined over one out in a baseball game. Just amazing!! If he hadn't done it the guy next to him would have (based on the picture). Maybe he could have been paying more attention to the outfielder trying to make the play, but lets be realistic -- thats a stretch. He is just the easiest target to blame, but lets face it Cubs lost on their own poor play and I would say coaching in last night's game - The should have pulled Wood and Prior earlier.
Back to Bartman -- This guy really does need to move. Technology and the media did him in -- heck they published so many pictures of his face, his name, where he worked, home address, email, aol id, team he coaches...its just crazy!! Chicago fans can be brutal -- I lived there for 2 years out of undergrad and they take all their sports seriously and the Cubs are close to their heart. I bet the company he works for is debating what to do -- especially since he is a client facing consultant -- they certainly won't be sending him on any Chicago based clients.
Poor guy -- life is so fragile isn't it? I wish him the best -- maybe someday he will forget about this whole turn of events. Boy you know if the Cubs had won last night he would have been on every talk show, now he needs to hide.
