In my 95SET the underbody was perfect. There was a plastic/rubbery urethane layer under the paint. I put some LPS-3 on the exposed fastener head and threads etc. But otherwise things were perfect. The best underbody protection I ever did see. I bet winters can be a mess in sweden too.
I would open up the access spots for the rear shocks and look for signs of water intrustion or salt crust there. If so, somne sealant on the rubber buffers and tighen them down more than they were.
