I am not afraid to say that I like the new BMWs... I liked the 7 when it came out -- I will own the new 6 at some point in the future and I think the 5 looks sharp. The Z4 I don't care much for, but now I think its ok. While I love Saabs I also admire BMW. After the last few being Saabs I may get a BMW next. My last BMW was a 1996 328 coupe -- that was a great car - before that a 1981 320i. I am about due and the new 9-3 SS isn't that stunning and at first I thought the 9-2 was promising, but now I am less sure -- we'll see. The BMW 6 series is a practical coupe so I like that, but with a couple kids I may end up with the 5 as my next car.
I personally like Bangle's cutting-edge style. I like cars that show some personality. The BMWs have personality -- the Japan take-offs don't. This is the first time since the late 80s that BMW has really caught my eye. Back then I thought the M6 was the car to have -- I loved it. I also like the 5 series from the late 80s.
