After posting my mesage I viewed both the home (UK), and US web sites for ProDrive. I then realised that the WRX is a 2.5 turbo motor and the 9-2X has been leaked to be a 2.5 Non-turbo motor or a 2.0 turbo motor.

The UK site lists technical info for a wide array of performance improvements for what appears to be the entire Subaru product line-up. The US site only lists the WRX targeted improvements (under the Brakes tab surprisingly), with prices but no technical data.

In an attempt to clarify (but propably bugger things up more), affordable aftermarket kits exist to convert a WRX into a WRX STi, AND aftermarket kits exist to increase the HP for other Subaru engines too.

Sorry for the confusion. I had just read a brief article in Motortrend last night regarding the ProDrive upgrade prior to writing my posting, but temporarily forgot the engine in the 9-2X will be different than the WRX.
