have you ever driven a WRX? A friend has a wagon WRX & I wasn't impressed at all. The only reason they are quick to 60 mph or the 1/4 mi is due to the AWD traction & not the amount of HP or torque the car has. My friends WRX wagon seemed to be similar to my brothers 98 SET in acceleration, my viggen is a LOT faster & for the most part feels more solid doing so.
With a few simple upgrades it's pretty easy to get close to 300 crank HP however any more then that & you need a larger turbo just like the viggen, bigger turbo to get more HP :o)
