other Saab Dealer. Some less-than-customer-friendly Dealers will only perform Warranty Work on vehicles that were sold by them, but they usually don't care.
For non-Warranty work, a Subaru Delaer MAY be willing to service the car also since it is a rebadged Imprezza. Within the GM family of brands, Chevy Dealers will typically work on most Pontiac models because they sell the same platform themselves and will have parts on their shelf.
Don't try it with a Pontiac Fiero however. Even though it used a Chevy Chevette front-end in the front and a Chevy Citation front-end in the rear, they usually will claim it is unique to Pontiac and must only be serviced at a Pontiac Dealer because the Chevy Dealer won't have the parts. Must be a real PITA to service one of those, otherwise why turn away the business.
