With a small volume car company as Saab is it may affect the statistics more when a customer walks in to buy one model and ends up with another. As someone in the press once said, "GM spills more cars than Saab makes". That is changing but ever so slowly. I feel that someone who is in the market for a 9-5 type of auto would probably not get a 9-3 instead. I have a 9-5 and like the 9-3 very much but it is not as big or as nice.
