I mean I do expect Lexus and Infiniti to be at the top, and VW, Kia, Daewoo & Land Rover at the bottom (all crap!!), not to mention Audi, MB, and Volvo all in the lower bottom half (all highly over rated for reliability) ... but then there are these weird anomolies:

Buick at #3 ???

Cadillac & Lincoln above Honda ???????

Subaru & Nissan below Mercury ??

Mazda below Chevy??

So, you know, more and more I'm starting to think the samples are not scientific or accurate, and that personal opinion within JD Powers may influence placement. The argument that companies pay for their placement seems bogus though since the car groups end up in such diverse placements (ie Buick & Merc/Linc high Chevy/Isuzu & Ford/Mazda low, etc.)
