In my opinion you can't beat Hakkas (studded or unstudded) in the snow; they're the best. But then again, being a broke student, I run wintermasters and they're fine on a c900 in Vermont snow and ice. There were a few times I wish I had the hakkas but I never got stuck. If I could afford it though, it would be hakka's without a doubt.
c900's are fantastic in tehe snow but they are still only 2WD and the real danger is often the other drivers. If I don't absolutely need to drive in bad weather, I don't. What to concider is if you often find yourself in the position where you are forced to drive in bad weather, I'd say the hakka's are worth it. It only takes one bad day to make you wish you had.
